March Mandy Madness

Miz Mandy's single, "In The Mix", remixed by DJ Scotty K., hits Breakout Billboard Charts twice in March reaching number two and number five.

SAN DIEGO, CA. April 5th, 2007 - Miz Mandy's flirty dance single, "In the Mix" remixed by DJ Scotty K. (Christina Aguilera), grabbed the attention of club DJs through the month of March. "In the Mix" scaled the Breakout Billboard Charts climbing to number two and ebbing at number five. Steve Pina of Omni Entertainment said, "Miz Mandy hits breakout status twice in one month with Billboard Chart reporting club DJ's across the country - which means she should be debuting on the Billboard Top 50 Dance Chart very, very soon."

Marvin Collett of WLKT in Lexington, KY furthers, "Great Vocals. Great hook. This is not just a great dance record, pop radio will love this."

Released in January, Miz Mandy's second album, "In The Mix," further proves her distinction as a performing artist, producer, studio engineer, and prolific songwriter. Her music strikes an international chord with its underlying Latin beats, overlying Spanish guitars, and European dance sounds. The focus of the album, she said, was "to mix up the different cultures and the different sounds."

"In the likes of artists such as Justin Timberlake, Shakira and Pink, with fans as young as 6 up to senior citizens, Miz Mandy is also one of those artists that can have a huge audience with no age limits. It's only a matter of time before Miz Mandy becomes a household name," said album reviewer Nuevo Revolution.

Miz Mandy's lyrics reflect a wide range of social issues including racial equality and the social pressures that young people face. The songs inspire all to take action, and the music encourages women to rely on themselves and live their dreams. She also makes time to sing about love, passion, and seduction.

Brad LeBeau of Pro Motion said, " Miz Mandy [is] her visual resemblance to Sarah Jessica Parker and her vocal resemblance to Madonna - two very popular female icons in the club culture..."

Currently, Miz Mandy is involved in two charitable projects, Jeans for Justice and Battle In The Mix, both created by Consciously Social and supporting the San Diego Center for Community Solutions. Jeans for Justice is a high-energy fashion show promoting Sexual Awareness Month. Miz Mandy will kick-off the event with a live performance scheduled for May 5 at Rancho Santa Fe, Ca.

"Battle In the Mix," is a DJ competition giving top DJ's a chance to put their skills to the test by remixing songs from Miz Mandy's "In The Mix" album. The contest is scheduled for June 30 at the San Diego Aerospace Museum, and Miz Mandy will be performing live.

"Each DJ gets 20 minutes," she said. "What they really do is take the meat of my music and put their own creative spin on it. It's gonna be huge!"
