Miz Mandy supports educational themes, public service announcements, specific events and causes that can bring a broader “No Borders” understanding between cultures. Susan G. Komen For The Cure:
The San Diego Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is dedicated to combating breast cancer at every front. Up to 75 percent of the Affiliate’s net income goes toward funding grants to local hospitals and community organizations that provide breast health education and breast cancer screening and treatment programs for medically underserved women. The remaining net income (a minimum of 25 percent) supports the national Komen Grants Program, which funds groundbreaking breast cancer research, meritorious awards and educational and scientific programs around the world.

Miz Mandy performed on day 1 (Nov 21st, 2008) of the nationwide Susan G. Komen 3-Day event. The event is a 60 mile walk for to help raise millions of dollars for breast cancer research and patient support programs.
Miz Mandy also sang for the Komen San Diego Awards Reception on April 3rd, 2009 as well as hosting her own 3rd party Fundraiser for the cause at Anthology Music and Supper club on August 6th, 2009.

Jeans for Justice is a high-energy fashion show promoting Sexual Awareness Month. Miz Mandy kicked-off the event with a live performance of her #37 Billboard charting track and ended the evening with the debut performance of her new song, 'Jeans for Justice'. The event supported increased awareness of rape and sexual assault. May 5, 2007.

San Diego Juvenile Hall:
In case you are not on top of the details of juvenile crime in our county, there are about 400 teens incarcerated at Juvenile Hall....and this does not include other rehab and detention facilities in our county. Juvenile Hall/ San Diego hosted a "career day" on April 16, 2009.
