Hi Everyone!
Just wanted to give you an update of what's happening in my world!
Back in the studio again! The next Pop/Dance album will be more electronic and I am working with an incredible DJ Producer, Touvan.
You have heard some of his work through dance remixes of “In The Mix” and “Yours”. Check him out at www.Touvan.com Pat, Touvan, and I are experimenting with the first few songs as we speak... ('Take Me to the Dancefloor' and 'Music is Life')
Also, I’m working on a few other side projects: A jazz/blues album and a singer/songwriter album with John Rosenberg in Los Angeles. www.myspace.com/JohnRosenbergMusic Pat Pickslay of Rhythm Coalition will be Co-writer, Producer, and engineer.
www.aTripleThreat.com. I had written most of these 20 songs years ago, and even though these side projects will be be on the back burner, I feel that they will represent some of my best lyrics...
And, I'll be working on a video project for the single "No Borders" with Exotic World Gifts for their worldly mission of improving artisans’ lives around the world. Check them at: www.ExoticWorldGifts.com
And I’ll be writing a song for Sacred Space Imports & their World Artisan Fund. Check out their products at: Sacred Spaces in San Marcos or online at www.SacredSpaceImports.com
I'll keep you update as things progress!
Love ya!

Happy New Year!
Hello Freinds, Family, Fans and Associates!
For those of you wondering, I have not fallen off the edge of the earth! So much has been happening, and lately, Computer crash, pet emergency, flooded house, Lasik surgery, new nephew, wildfires, and travel, etc., etc.
Speaking of wildfires, I hope this email finds you well! Other than some property damage, everyone I've spoken to seems to have made it through ok, but will have a ton of clean-up. Just wanted to let you all know that you are in my thoughts and prayers! Please let me know if I can be of any assistance to any of you.
As we are nearing the end of the year, I wanted to take the time to reflect on all of the awesome things that have happened and take the time to thank again, everyone who has a part of it in any way.
2006
2007
I'm taking a break from the live shows for now... I'm back in the studio with Patricio Pickslay of Rhythum Calition, workin on the next album, which we'll promote dance single-by-single until the full pop version album is complete. Just met with the promoter, Brad LeBeau of ProMotion in New York last month. We'll release the first single in January, then April, then August, etc. Hoping to release the actual album around May. And go mostly digital.
There are some changes in the works as far as my image and web promotion...So be ready for some surprises!!! Until then, thank you everyone for your continued support! Happy New Year to everyone!
Hello Everyone!
Sorry to take so long getting back to you... 3 shows and a trip oversees within 2 weeks has made me a busy (and tired) girl! And I had a wedding on Saturday that I have been preparing for.
All of the shows went well! Over 400 people came to the 'Jeans for Justice' - the May 5th show that supported increased awareness of rape and sexual assault. It was an absolute blast! Great drinks, networking, and plenty of chaos backstage! So many fun people and supporters... Of course Ellen, Jess, Nick, Liz and all at Consciously Social. Style by Laura Gambucci at www.EssentiallyPink.com, Hair and Make-up by Abbey, David and Co. by www.SalonRadius.com. Jewelry and Accessories by the lovely new shopowner (101 and Luecadia), Cessily B. Thanks also to Liz Edwards, of www.LetsPlayDowntown.com for Media Coverage and Videography, Rueben and the whole crew at Fox 6 News www.fox6.com. Awesome photos by the one and only www.JamieClear.com. And writer www.MollyNance.com.
I had another show for Toyota, a night of food, entertainment and raffle prizes. It was also very fun, but very low key. www.ToyotaCarlsbad.com
Paris was a great balance between tourism and local culture. We saw the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Sacre Couer, Montmarte, Moulin Rouge, etc. Some friends have lived there and knew all the best places to go. We spent a day on the outskirts of town in the country, on 2 separate islands in the Seine river, for an authenic Parisian lunch and snacks at two friends houses. We also visited a Paris soiree, local flea market, and a famous Souffle restaurant. What a blast!
I came home for a show in LA at the 2007 West Coast Salsa Congress with the Positive Energy Dance Team. We did the "Shake Shake Shake." with 8 couples and two Brazilian capoiera dancers just this last Thursday night. Wow, what a big show! The video should be out soon. Don't forget to check out www.PositiveEnergyDance.com and www.ElStudioTango.com.
Keep your eyes open for the next awesome show BATTLE In The Mix, a competition among some of San Diego's most talented and recognized names in night life. This cutting edge DJ Battle and remix competition challenges the top DJ's from San Diego to perform before a panel of celebrity judges and San Diego's entertainment connoisseurs, an event that will stimulate all the senses as we incorporate cutting edge creative expression through the fusion of music, live performance, dance, digital art and also feature a performance by Billboard recording artist Miz Mandy (moi!), all while infusing the message of global awareness. BATTLE In The Mix supports the charitable organization, Invisible Children, Inc. www.myspace.com/BattleDjCompetition and www.ConsciouslySocial.com
That's it for now, other than to check out all of the new photos coming soon! And Thanks to everyone for your continued kind words and support! I look forward to hearing from you soon!
Well, the CD is out and we are getting great feedback already... Everyone especially loves the DJ Scotty K remixes of "In The Mix". Check out some of the new reviews and comments made from different DJs around the country in the news section. We're also adding some photos from NAMM and LA to the hot photo section.
I'm excited about all the positive feedback, but there is still so far to go... more soon!... : )
M.
Musically, we are working on several projects now and the new LA team is very hopeful. Distribution, delivery/set up of Content - downloads/ringtones, websites, etc. We are working on schedules and promo packet for NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants - huge convention!) in LA and the ASR (fashion and sports) conference in San Diego for the end of January. We need to decide what sponsors we want and what they will get (banner at shows, product placement, logo placement, etc.)
They think in February we will begin charting on the dance charts and then we will start charting later on the pop charts. We know we need a music video and EPK (electronic press kit) to run a parallel public and industry video campaign. We're also working with Consciously Social on a DJ Competition and then hoping to release an "In the Re-Mix" compilation CD to have available for our attendance at the Miami Winter Dance Music Conference in March. Besides that, just all the regular marketing, promotion, PR/press, Touring, and ending in May with a show for the charity event, Jeans for Justice. I have a few articles coming out too. Whew! So that's the update.
Hello Everyone!

Steve and the Gang will be doing our marketing, promotion and National/International Distribution. They have requested a new album "In The Mix" which we have been working on day and night for 4 weeks. It should be manufactured and in the national market in November 2006. We are in talks with partner, Al, for several cameo and/or soundtrack opportunities for Paramount and indie movies. Subsequently, they have passed on the tracks "Shake Shake Shake" and "In The Mix" to world renown DJ, DJ Scotty K. He is doing club remixes and we will release singles and vinyl in November 2006.
