This past Friday I had an opportunity to photograph a very special event at the Universal club in downtown Hillcrest, San Diego. The special event was the music video premiere for "Let Love Be Free," by Miz Mandy.
There were hundreds of fans, television news media, and many photographers that attended this event. The fans were cheering and screaming as Miz Mandy arrived and stepped out of the limousine.
Shortly after Miz Mandy arrived they showed the "behind the scenes making" of the music video "Let Love Be Free". The clip showed all the special people that were involved with the making of the video. Special guests involved with the production were Director Frank Rice Jr., Producer Iain Harris, Stylist LaFawn Wesson, Director of Photography David Rodriguez, and Lighting Director Ama MacDonald.
Then the new video was premiered as hundreds of fans viewed the "Let Love Be Free" video for the first time. It was an awesome site and as soon as the video ended the crowd cheered loudly. Miz Mandy then introduced some special guests and sang two songs live! Following the live performance the Big Party began!
It was a pleasure to be one of the photographers at this special event. Miz Mandy, her guests, and all the fans were fantastic. Hats off to Miz Mandy and everyone involved with the production of this music video.
